About Equus
Every horse owner deserves as much quality time as possible with their equine companion. What they don’t want to do is waste that time looking fruitlessly for a certain equestrian product online for up to a week or more for delivery, or frantically travelling from tack shop to country store.
Kim Horton and Steven Wood, who founded the company, were frustrated by the paucity of high-quality, easily accessible equestrian clothes and tack available online and were motivated to make the horse retail industry more customer-centric.
“Equus really grew from a rant I had about a particularly disastrous trip to the tack shop,” Kim explains. “As an avid horse rider with a day job, I could never find a store that carried the high-quality equine gear I needed and could reliably ship it to me.”
